About the Role

We are recruiting for full‑time Support Workers to join our team. This role provides person‑centred supports to clients across the Murraylands region.

The position requires the ability to work flexible full-time hours across a 14‑day roster, including:

  • Morning and afternoon shifts

  • Some evening/PM penalty shifts (as applicable)

  • Weekends

  • Sleepover (passive) shifts

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct disability support in home and community settings

  • Assist with personal care, medication support, and manual handling

  • Support clients to participate in social and community activities

  • Provide overnight passive support (sleepover shifts) when rostered

  • Use behaviour support strategies where required

  • Complete accurate documentation and maintain high-quality record‑keeping

  • Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and external stakeholders

 

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services, or equivalent

  • Experience supporting people with disability (minimum 6–12 months preferred)

  • Ability to work flexibly across a 14‑day rotating roster, including sleepovers

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and problem‑solving skills

  • Capacity to work independently and within a team

  • A reliable vehicle and willingness to travel locally

 

Mandatory Clearances

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)

  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • Safe Environments for Children & Young People Certificate
  • Manual Handling competency

  • Valid Drivers License (International licenses accepted but must be written in English)

  • Vaccinations (as applicable)

Salary & Conditions

  • SCHADS Award Level 2 Pay Point 2 Base salary range: $70,000 – $83,500 per year. Actual salary depends on roster composition, allowances and Award obligations.

  • First Aid allowance included

  • Sleepover/passive shift allowances (as rostered)

  • Penalty rates for evening work, public holidays & weekends (if rostered)

  • Superannuation in accordance with legislation

  • Annual wage adjustments as determined by Fair Work
