No, placements aren’t paid, but you will get hands-on experience, build real skills, and get a genuine feel for what a career in disability support is like.

Placement length can vary depending on your course. We’ll work with your training provider to determine the hours required, ensuring it suits both your learning needs and Livit’s programs.

There are lots of possibilities and no two days are the same. You might:

  • Support clients with everyday activities
  • Join group programs and social outings
  • Assist with office or admin tasks, depending on your placement

Yes. You’ll need a NDIS Worker Check and/or Working with Children Check, depending on your placement.

You’ll have a supervisor to guide you, and our People & Culture team is here to help. You can also speak with your trainer or course coordinator if you need extra support.
