Living Made Easier

With SIL, we’ve got the day-to-day covered so you can focus on living your life. Our support can include working together to cook, clean, do laundry, manage personal care, shopping, or getting to appointments. Whatever makes your days run smoothly. Need support during the day or overnight? No problem. We’ll shape it around your routine and goals. You call the shots and we’ll be ready.

SIL and SDA – Working Together

SDA (Specialist Disability Accommodation) is funded separately from SIL, but they can go hand in hand. We work closely with a range of trusted SDA providers to help open doors for our clients. Through our connections, we keep you front of mind when new housing options come up and work together to find the right solution for your needs.

Getting into your own SIL home can sometimes take time, which is why it’s important to start early, even if you don’t have NDIS funding yet. We have a dedicated SIL team, who work on this every day and can keep you front of mind as new options come up. We’ll guide you along the way and help you find the right fit and support when the time’s right for you. Get in Touch

We know finding the right housemates is one of the most important parts of your SIL experience, and we take it seriously. We get to know you, your interests, and what makes you feel comfortable, then introduce you with people you’re likely to connect with. We’ll organise meet-and-greet sessions so you can meet your future housemates and the team who will support you. If the first match isn’t right for you, we’ll work with you to find the right fit. Whether you want to live with others or on your own, we help you find a home that works for you.

Yes! Sharing support with housemates is a great way to make your funding go further. Support can cover everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning, laundry, personal care, and getting to appointments. You can share support where it makes sense or have one-on-one support when you need it.

We make sure there’s furniture in the shared living spaces, like the living room or laundry, and we charge a small maintenance fee for this. You will just need to bring in your own bedroom furniture. It’s your home though, so you can bring in whatever furniture you like! If you have housemates, you can still decorate shared spaces together too.

No worries. Life changes, and so can your support. Just give us 28 days’ notice and we’ll work with you to update your SIL plan. Our team will adjust your support to make sure it continues to fit your needs and your home stays comfortable.
